Job Overview
Scotty Manufacturing is seeking a reliable Internal Customer Service Support Specialist for a full-time, Monday to Friday day shift position in our Internal Sales Department. This position requires a congenial manner with internal and external clients alike. This position provides support to the sales and customer service teams for accurate processing of customer orders and repairs.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Direct point of contact for front counter product repairs, check ins and check outs, processing customer payments
- Capable of learning and assisting in product repairs
- Capacity to respond promptly and handle high volumes of inquiries in person, by phone or through emails and resolve customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Work closely with sales force team regarding daily transactions
- Manage time and multi-task as required to meet team and individual deadlines
- Be flexible and adaptable to meet customer needs as well as internal requirements
- Prepare necessary customs documents for international orders
- Interest in learning, or knowledge of, fishing and fishing products a definite asset
- Learn to navigate various portals to enter accurate data in order entry, review and manage customer Purchase Orders, including PO changes, customer schedule changes, ship request dates

- Excellent and effective communication skills- written, verbal, interpersonal
- Follow verbal and written work instructions accurately
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate judgment, and discretion
- Time management skills with ability to organize, prioritize and multitask daily activities
- Attention to detail and deadline oriented
- Handy with small hand tools and power tools would be an asset
- Exceptional work ethic, self-starter and ability to take initiative, self-motivator
- Basic computer literacy programs (email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Previous manufacturing experience and background would be an asset but not required
- Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge of product
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED or Higher
- Previous customer service roles are an asset
