Sales and Service Duties and Responsibilities
- provide exceptional customer sales service by responding to phone calls and emails
- build and maintain solid relationships with current customers
- become knowledgeable of the Scotty Firefighter product line to have a comprehensive understanding to aid in responding to customer inquiries
- participate in exhibits at domestic and global trade shows and demonstration events, once knowledgeable of product
- locate prospective customers and generate leads for new business
- assist customers with product pricing and shipping quotes
- provide distribution of marketing info/sales sheets/price info to Dealers and end users
- maintain a current passport
Administration Functions
- taking and entering customer purchase orders into the internal tracking system
- assist with customer inquiries through telephone and email communications
- provide customers with status of orders, shipping and tracking information as
- requested.
- enter RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorization) into internal system
- provide customers with return information as requested
- create shipping/customs documents for both domestic and international orders as necessary
- maintain file storage for invoices and customer purchase orders
Skills and Experience
- Background in sales required ( 3 years preferred)
- Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal
- Background in customer service an asset ( 3 years preferred)
- Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe
- Computer literate with confidence in learning new computer systems
- Experience with or knowledge of fire-fighting equipment preferred, but training provided
