Scotty Manufacturing is seeking a reliable Inside Sales Support/Customer Service Associate for a full-time, Monday to Friday day shift position in our Sales Department. This position requires an excellent and convivial manner with internal and external clients alike. This position provides support to the sales and customer service teams for accurate processing of customer orders. Please note , this is a support position, not a sales position.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Enter accurate data in order entry, review and manage customer Purchase Orders, including PO changes, customer schedule changes, ship request dates
- Enter Data/Order entry using multiple vendor and shipping portals
- Promptly respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts, product and service
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product inquiries.
- Provide pricing, service and delivery information to customer/vendor in timely manner
- Work cross functionally to provide necessary customer information and assistance to Regional Sales Managers, and Sales Representatives
- Communicate directly with sales representatives to provide correct information regarding samples, customer orders and inventory levels
- Communicate with Sales Reps and Pricing Departments regarding customer pricing issues
- Communicate with Shipping department regarding vendor guideline in relation to shipping requirements
- Handle and resolve customer complaints in professional manner
- Manage time and multi task appropriately to meet team and individual deadlines
- Be flexible, adjustable and adaptable to meet customer needs as well as internal requirements
- Navigate through multiple online platform ie: IQMS – Vendor Central – SPS Commerce
- Prepare all shipping and customs documents for US orders

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED or Higher
- Proven success in a similar inside sales/customer service role with at least 3 years tenure
- Previous customer service roles are an asset
